ABOUT US

A daughter of the M’nông takes you home to her village

Chi Bu Trip began with a small foreign-language class in Bon Kon Hao.

OUR STORY

From a village classroom to journeys

Chi Bu Trip began in Bon Kon Hao, Đắk Ha commune, where H’Brông, a M’nông teacher, opened the village’s first foreign-language class for children. While teaching the children, she also wanted to bring travellers from afar to see the real Central Highlands: the hearth fire in a stilt house, the sound of gongs, the coffee fields and waterfalls that aren’t yet on any travel map.

Travel that lifts the whole village

Guests stay with local families, eat village food and buy brocade straight from the weavers. Part of every trip goes to the foreign-language class for the children of Kon Hao.

“The Central Highlands are not just for looking at. Come to the village, sit by the fire, listen to the gongs, and you will understand why the M’nông love the forest as they love their home.”

— H’Brông, founder of Chi Bu Trip

OUR VALUES

How we do travel

Local

M’nông, K’Ho and Ba Na people guide you and tell the stories of their own villages.

Small groups

A maximum of 12 guests, so we travel slowly, stay close and don’t disturb village life.

Respect the forest

No elephant riding, no littering, no buying or selling forest products. Every group plants a tree.

Rising together

Part of the revenue from every trip goes to the foreign-language class for the children of Kon Hao.
